Paravirtualization

Flexible Linux hosting with file-level backups

Container VPS runs on lightweight Virtuozzo 7 paravirtualization, so more of the hardware goes to your workload and prices stay low. Change any resource up or down at any time — online, without a reboot — and restore individual files from free daily backups.

  • Scale resources both ways

Change CPU, RAM, storage, or bandwidth up or down at any time — online, without a reboot.

  • Free plan changes

The trade-in time method recalculates your remaining service time — no extra payment needed.

  • File-level backups

Free daily backups on a separate remote server — 7 daily plus 3 weekly restore points, and backups are kept for up to 35 days. Restore single files and folders, not just full images.

  • Instant activation

Your server is ready within seconds after payment, with full root access.

  • NVMe SSD and DDoS protection

NVMe SSD storage exclusively, plus free multi-level DDoS protection on every plan.

  • Simple control panel

Start, stop, restart, reinstall the OS in one click, watch performance graphs, and use the web console.

Various linux distributions

Choose from the most popular linux distributions: Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu. You can quickly and easily rewrite or change operating system at any time.

FAQ

Container VPS questions, answered

01

What is a Container VPS?

Container VPS is a virtual server with dedicated resources built on Virtuozzo 7 paravirtualization. Compared to full virtualization it has lower overhead, supports online resource changes, and offers file-level backups. Every server includes full root access, NVMe SSD storage, and free DDoS protection. Linux only.

02

Can I change my plan or resources after ordering?

Yes — plan changes are completely free and applied online without a reboot. Any resource (CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth) can be changed up or down at any time; the trade-in time method recalculates your remaining time, so there is no extra payment.

03

How do backups work on Container VPS?

All plans include free daily backups with file-level restore: recover individual files and folders without reverting the whole system. Backups are stored on a separate remote server — the schedule keeps 7 daily and 3 weekly backups, and they are kept for up to 35 days. On-demand backups are also available from the control panel.

04

How quickly is my VPS activated?

Instantly — the server is ready within seconds after payment, with full root access and a pre-configured control panel.

05

Can I run Windows on a Container VPS?

No — Container VPS is Linux-only (Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux, CentOS, and other distributions). If you need Windows Server, BSD, or custom kernel modules, choose Cloud VPS instead.

06

Why can't I send email from my VPS?

SMTP ports (25, 465, 587) are closed by default on all VPS servers to protect against spam — a standard industry safeguard. Contact support and describe your use case (transactional mail, newsletters, a mail server) and we will open the ports; alternatively, use an external SMTP relay such as Mailgun, SendGrid, or Amazon SES.
